Thank you, Danielle, for illuminating this human tragedy. Just the other day, a friend,
who is an aromatherapist, gave me a sample of some beautiful perfume oil from Syria, which came in a gorgeous glass bottle. He remarked, what an amazing artistic aesthetic the Syrian culture has. I agreed, but told him that there was also so much suffering in this country. And all of us can do no less then speak out and condemn this situation, where children grow up knowing nothing but senseless violence. You have shone a light on the misery and destroyed lives of some 14 million children — a situation almost unthinkable.
